After searching for many years for a leather tannery whose quality, integrity in processes and production, vision and values aligned with their own, Great Dane has revealed that the search is over, announcing their decision to partner with Tarnsjo Garveri on a range of beautiful, top quality leathers.
Tarnsjo Garveri leathers will be available on all Great Dane classics including the V11 Easy Chair and Sofa, the Prime Time Easy Chair, Kai #42 Chairs, the Australian Sofa and the Klassik Sofa.

The Story Behind The Tannery
Based in the small town of Tärnsjö, Sweden, on the edge of a breathtaking National Park, the integrity and environment play a huge part in everything that Tarnsjo Garveri do.
Tarnsjo Garveri is one of the remaining 5% of tanning houses in the world who continue to use traditional vegetable tanning in favour of the chrome-excel method.
